Justification

God declares believers righteous through faith in Christ, giving them peace with himself.
Adoption

Through Christ, God receives believers as his children and heirs and gives them his Spirit.
United to Christ

Believers share in Christ’s death and resurrection and therefore belong to a new life.
Sanctification and God’s work in us

God’s grace renews believers and enables their active growth in holiness.
